On June 8, 2023, we recieved notification from the State of California, that we are officially recognized as a CA Non Proft for Public Benefit! We are working with members of other local and established nonprofits to make sure the rest of our paper work looks great to get our tax exempt status from state and waiting for IRS response which will happen in less than 90 days!
More and more people are reaching out to help, mentor, and support us and we are actively planning the fine details for events and activities to start up! This has been the most stressful, frightening, and wonderful experience ever!
Like recovery, things are scary and hard, sometimes overwheleming, but it is possible, it will pass, and we are doing this!
